Course Director

Over the past several decades, cardiovascular medicine has undergone remarkable advancements, with catheter-based interventions playing a central role.

In percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the introduction of drug-eluting stents (DES) and technological innovation have significantly reduced restenosis risk, establishing PCI as a highly effective and safe treatment. Furthermore, new devices and techniques have expanded treatment options for complex cases such as chronic total occlusion (CTO) and severe coronary artery disease.

Beyond coronary interventions, innovations in peripheral vascular treatment (EVT), structural heart disease (SHD), arrhythmia management, and heart failure care have broadened therapeutic possibilities and improved patient outcomes.

As these fields continue to evolve, it is essential not only to refine technical skills but also to deepen clinical knowledge. Since its inception in 2011, the Toyohashi Live Demonstration Course has been dedicated to providing a platform for sharing expertise, experience, and the latest evidence.

This course integrates multiple disciplines, including PCI, TAVI, TEER, EVT, and OMT, and promotes collaboration across specialties to deliver comprehensive educational value.

We aim to provide practical insights directly applicable to daily clinical practice, based on the latest evidence and international guidelines.

We sincerely hope that this course will serve as a platform for advancing cardiovascular medicine and fostering the next generation of innovation.

We look forward to welcoming you to Toyohashi Live Demonstration Course 2026.
